The National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) is the national representative of the custom precision manufacturing industry in the United States. For the most part, NTMA members are small businesses, yet the industry generates sales in excess of $25 Billion per year. Out of approximately 14,000 companies that make up the contract tooling and machining industry, 2,600 are members of NTMA, the only national organization representing the industry. NTMA members are organized into 52 local federated chapters and tool centers throughout the country.

The Los Angeles NTMA is an affiliate of the National Tooling & Machining Association. The National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) is a nationwide, non-profit trade association of approximately 2,000 companies engaged in precision custom manufacturing including contract machining, tool & die making, mold building and building of special purpose machines for all industries. The Los Angeles Chapter is the largest chapter in the nation with over 140 members. They celebrated the chapter’s 50th anniversary in 2001.
